Role Title: Project Manager – Access to Medicines
Duration: 6 months (potential extension)
Location: Hybrid London (may consider remote, UK based candidates)
Rate: £650 per day via umbrella Inside IR35

Role purpose / summary
There’ll be 3 projects that over the course of your tenure, will be responsible for coordinating:
• Project management for the Cabotegravir for PrEP Q4M Access strategy project
o This project will run from September 2024 until at least March 2025.
o Supporting a cross-functional team (Supply, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, GAGPH) to determine the Cabotegravir Q4M access strategy
• Project management for the tech transfer of Cabotegravir for PrEP Q2M to generic licensees
o This project is already active, with support needed from September 2024 until at least March 2025.
o Supporting a cross-functional team to accelerated the tech transfer of Cabotegravir for PrEP Q2M to generic licensees
• Project management for the set-up of procurement and delivery of Cabotegravir for PrEP Q2M to South Africa
o This project has not yet started
o Supporting a large cross-functional team to accelerate access to Cabotegravir for PrEP in South Africa
Project Management activities including:
• Managing project kick off meetings
• Facilitating face-to-face or virtual JPS (joint planning session)
• Creating project plans
• Creating RACIs
• Creating Escalation & Decision matrixes
• RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues & Decisions) management throughout the project lifecycle
• Holding regular 1:1s with project leads
• Managing and tracking workstream leads
• Organizing and facilitating regular core team meetings and workshops
• AAR preparation and consolidation
• Communication planning and executing
Key Skills/ Requirements:
Essential:
• Project management experience – project delivery
• Stakeholder management & matrix working
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
• Life science/ Pharma experience
• Supply chain experience
• Experience in delivering access to medicines in low/middle income countries
• Project management experience plus qualification
• Stakeholder management
• Critical/strategic thinking
• Experience in pharma and/or supply chain; particularly in low and middle income countries; access to medicines
