Role Brief:
The Procurement Manager with Spanish and English will be a generalist role with the ability to support high volume Indirect source to contracts activities under a defined category strategy. This role will collaborate with the procurement category and local market teams (LOC) to deliver sourcing, negotiation, contract execution, and supplier lifecycle management services to the global procurement organization
Minimum Level of Job-Related Experience Required
The job also requires highly developed:
• Proven track of experience in leading end to end source to contract projects, preferably in complex global corporate organizations;
• Strong procurement expertise in commercial and contract negotiations, preferably in indirect categories
• Project management and stakeholders management experience
• Communication and engagement skills
• English and Spanish proficiency (written and oral)
• Strong experience in using tools like Ariba or other equivalent sourcing execution technology
Key Responsibilities :
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of multiple Indirect Procurement categories (e.g. Marketing, Meetings&Events, Professional Services) and understanding of the relevant industries/markets.
• Execute sourcing strategies for spend categories in scope, aligning with the requirements of business stakeholders, and cooperating with Global Procurement Category Teams and local market teams (LOC)
• Deliver Source to Contract activities (RFI, RFP, RFQ, eAuctions) using eSourcing tool in a timely manner under a defined category strategy (execution of end to end sourcing and contracting process);
• Negotiate contracts, understand legal challenges, communicate with peers in GSK’s legal team, and provide guidance related to contract drafting and contract negotiation. Make system updates to support source to contract reporting.
• Accountable for developing and delivering against performance goals
• Proactively identify and facilitate resolution of issues ensuring that all Source to Contract activities are consistent with GSK quality and business objectives. Ensure GSK’s Procurement policies, procedures, processes, systems and methodologies are utilized in a compliant and optimized manner in the area of responsibility;
• Build relationships and ensure the appropriate communication strategy is in place with GSK stakeholders; understand business requirements, identify opportunities to create value, position Procurement’s value proposition, and align contracting strategies to assurance of supply (risk management), compliance, quality, service, cost and innovation.
• Consistently demonstrate GSK values and behaviours, foster the environment of a modern employer and promote GSK network/brand.
• Cooperate with a wide range of senior leaders across business areas and with suppliers.
