Role Title: QAPM Sampler/ Tester

Duration: 12 months possible extension

Location: GSK Worthing

Rate: £14.50 per hour PAYE

Role purpose / summary

The QAPM Sampler and Tester has the responsibility to carry out Sampling and Testing of Raw Materials and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients at the Worthing Site

• Perform Sampling of Raw materials and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) in accordance

• with defined procedures and plans.

• Ensure that the sampling area is fit for use prior to commencement of sampling operations.

• Ensure the correct Personal Protective Equipment is used during sampling operations.

• Ensure all clean of the sampling area is performed and documented

• Labelling and collation of sampled material for distribution to internal and external laboratories.

• Perform ID testing of Raw materials and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) by FTIR in

• accordance with defined procedures.

• Ensure that the testing equipment is fit for use prior to commencement of testing operations.

• Ensure the correct Personal Protective Equipment is used during testing operations.

• Use of the site MERP system to recieve batches, remove sampled quantities and enter test results.

• Perform all activities in accordance with GMP rules (eg ALCOA)

Key Skills/ requirements

• The role requires following of SOP's and completion of GMP documentation in the Pharaceutical work place. This will required basic literacy and maths skills
