Cyber Security Office - Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security: Delivery & Support Project Manager

The objective of the OT Cyber Security Programme is to reduce the risk of security threats to OT assets at GSK.

 

GSK is looking for an experienced project manager to support with the implementation of the OT Cyber Security Controls into manufacturing, R&D and facilities sites that are in scope for the programme. This is a critical role and will require an astute individual with ability to manage projects from concept through to completion within budget and on time.

 

Key responsibilities are:

·        Ensure that project/control activities associated with the development, provision, implementation and handover to the service are conducted in accordance with agreed plans.

·        Chair regular project/control team meetings and hold other meetings as necessary to manage the project plan.

·        Responsible for project/control status and completion.

·        Manages resources for assigned project/control tasks.

·        Ensure timely delivery of all project/control deliverables.

·        Ensure project/control quality standards are being met.

·        Ensure delivery of all project/control deliverables to meet cost commitments.

·        Manage and escalates identified risks.

·        Manage defects, issues/problem resolutions and escalations according to defined processes.

·        Ensure that project/control activities associated with the development, provision, implementation and handover to the service are conducted in accordance with agreed plans.

·        Maintain up-to-date project status in a Jira Project Management framework and maintain the currency of project information in Confluence as the project “source of truth”..

 

Skills required:

·        Previous experience in working as a project manager in large scale business change programmes

·        Ability to understand complex application and OT asset landscape

·        Strong project management skills

·        Experience of creating and maintaining a project plan in Jira and editing project pages in Confluence.

·        Sound organisational skills with experience in maintaining project governance artefacts and reporting across a global programme and matrixed organisation.

·        Excellent stakeholder engagement, written and oral communication skills; strong presentation skills

·        Strong planning and deliverable tracking to plan; attention to detail.

·        Proven delivery of complex global projects across multiple departments with the ability to drive alignment and rapid decision making .

·        Able to hit the ground running and demonstrate a persistent drive to completion.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group; engineers, operators, executives, managers and subject matter experts.

·        Advanced MS Office Skills.

·        Background in cyber security with a proven track record of delivering complex global change security initiatives.

·        Desirable: Background in delivery of ICS / OT security initiatives.

·        Desirable: Pharmaceutical experience, ideally in the delivery of complex IT / OT programmes.


Successful candidates will show a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required. 

Location for the role will be agreed and will be for an initial 6-month duration on a five day per week basis.
