12 – 18-month contract

£615.00 UMB

£469.00 PAYE

The Artwork Solution Programme is the programme to deliver a future ready Packaging Artwork Solution for Rx and Vx in New GSK that will replace the Harmony solution, provide functionality required for an expanding CMO network and allow access to enhanced capability for our DDA requirements in pack management. The Packaging Artwork E2E process is a critical compliance process which operates across the network including Regulatory, LOC’s, Sites, CMO’s, Artwork Services and Packaging Technical roles. The programme will be accountable for delivering the transformation from the internally hosted Harmony solution to a managed service, cloud-based solution, delivered by our artwork service provider TechM (Perigord) including associated business change. The first phase of the programme is to deploy the solution to the External Supply Contract Manufacturing Operations (CMO) partners.

The Deployment Lead is responsible for ensuring the deployment of the configured GSK GLAMS artwork solution. The first phase will deploy to approximately 50 CMOs following a phased approach starting with ~5 CMOs end of 2022 and continuing through 1H2023, while minimising impacts on manufacturing and supply chain operations. Following additional requirements gather, design work and governance approval, GSK GLAMS is intended to deploy to GSK internal Rx and Vx manufacturing sites – in effect replacing the Harmony system.

This person will be accountable to both the Customer and Delivery Boards to monitor and report on the deployment of the technical (IT) change and associated business change activities. It is anticipated that the deployment of the new solution will require a deployment lead for up to 18 months. There may be periods of decreased deployment activity while requirements gathering and design work is underway for subsequent GSK GLAMS releases.

This role will be the conduit into the overall Artwork Solution Programme and will interact with relevant senior level functional stakeholders affected by the new GLAMS solution deployment (e.g. VP, External Supply; Supplier Relationship Managers, Site Logistics Directors)).

Responsibilities:

•                    Development of the GSK GLAMS solution deployment approach, standards, and governance to ensure the efficient, compliant, and timely rollout.

•                    Lead a deployment team made up of SMEs, external supply team members, project Tech contacts. Provide input, guidance, and direction to ensure sufficient skills, knowledge and experience are in place to deploy solution successfully.

•                    Manage internal and external communications associated with the deployment approach and rollout.

•                    Ensure each target function’s cutover readiness, target state(s), data migration preparation (including adherence to relevant GxP policies) and deployment phase support alignment.

•                    Act as Point of Contact for customer hypercare support.

•                    Adhere to and feed into robust risk management processes to identify data migration challenges and potential clashes between GLAMS deployments and other company priorities. This may be a source of complexity with both internal and external manufacturing sites as events such as M&D, NPI take place.

•                    Define and consider work-in-progress (in Harmony legacy system) corresponding records management and archiving processes.

Skills and Experience required:

•                    Ability to work with technical experts (IT, Artwork, Packaging) and associated systems.

•                    Functional understanding of the GSK Supply Chain and Manufacturing operations.

•                    External provider relationship experience

•                    Minimum 5 years logistics project experience

•                    Highly effective change management and problem resolution skills.

•                    Strong leadership backed up by considerable influencing abilities.

•                    Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working in a multi-cultural environment.

•                    Process management skills – ability to define and deliver new ways of working based on GSK and industry best practice.

•                    Ability to work off own initiative and comfortable with delegated responsibility.

•                    Strong analytical skills.

•                    Demonstrated capability within the discipline of business change management
