Senior PMO Lead - Operational Technology

Remote working

Initial 12 month Contract

Pay rate up to £760 per day via Umbrella inside IR35



Project Overview & Background:

 

GSK is going to spin off its Consumer Healthcare (CH) business to set up a new company (NewCo). The OT (Operational Technology) systems of 27 CH locations need to be separated from GSK to the NewCo due to the spin-off. The OT Separation Project was started at the end of 2021 and will complete by June 2024.

 

OT is a collection of servers, workstations, and devices using specialized software to monitor and interact with production and laboratory equipment. IT and OT can both share a set of Above Site Services.  

 

Project Objective:

 

OT Separation Project is to separate the OT Systems of CH sites from GSK network and connect to NewCo network by June 2024 with minimal impact to production.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of the PPMO Handbook which defines the Programme’s governance and Ways of Working (WoW), ensuring alignment to OT project team methodologies, policies and procedures

·      Monitors and reports on Wave/Market Risks & Issues

  • Support and enable the processes used by the Programme (as defined in the PPMO Handbook)
  • Collation and completion of Programme status reporting and metrics for review by the Delivery Director
  • Maintains the Programme’s internal and external dependencies diagram
  • Act as single point of contact (SPoC) for Planning & Controls managers
  • Maintains the Programme’s internal and external dependencies diagram
  • Maintenance of Programme stakeholder management matrix, communications plan and global distribution lists

·      Works in conjunction with Site OT Lead, Delivery Lead, OT Project Managers and third parties (as required) to track and manage the baseline budget to ensure the Programme remains within budget

  • Produce Monthly programme budget status reporting

·      Monitors the demand for resources across the programme and works with the Delivery Director to evaluate whether existing capacity can cope with the forecast demand

  • Complete Finance reconciliations to enable the cross-charge of core team allocations to market cost centres at the completion of Wave-Cluster project closure
  • Ensure the Programme Change Management process is followed to track programme budget, timeline and scope changes
  • Collates and maintains Programme resource plan
  • Supports Programme users when creating documents in VEEVA
  • Ensures correct versioning of Programme controlled documents
  • Maintains the team site and various meeting workspaces
  • Flexibility to support other areas of the programme should the need arise, e.g. Test management reporting.


Specialised Knowledge and Required Skills:

 

  • Strong understanding of project finance concepts
  • Solid understanding of Project Management concepts such as governance, planning, change and risk & issue management
  • Large program experience
  • Understanding of GSK and CH Tech processes related to Tech projects
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management particularly with Programme leadership including senior Finance managers
  • Strong interpersonal skills
