The Infrastructure Security Programme Manager will focus on providing program management over the infrastructure portion of an info protection/security programme. This individual will have matrix responsibility and help lead multiple workstreams in a £multi million programme to deliver multiple technologies, process changes, and business change management key to the success of the programme.


Key Responsibilities


•        Lead a matrix team to deliver solutions and processes in support of project objectives and requirements, leading the project team and motivation of all team members with clear direction and communication

•        Program management over multiple high priority work streams on a day to day basis, and conducting reviews that feed up to the programme Steering Committee

•        Collaborate with GP&T, Business Unit Tech and Strategic Partners to ensure proper resource alignment and successful project delivery

•        Create and maintain project schedules. Identify and monitor overall project timeline, project milestones, tasks, resources, task dependencies, and critical paths

•        Anticipate and identify risks and issues that may impact timeline, deliverables and service quality and develop, communicate and migration plan(s) and corrective actions are implemented

•        Lead/matrix workstream programme/project managers, ensuring the workstreams achieve key milestones and end points in line with required timelines and objectives, maintaining RAID logs and escalating blockers. Ensure a required level of inter-connectivity across workstreams is maintained.

•        Conduct regular programme team status meetings. Manage issues and risk prevention/mitigation.

•        Demonstrate PM professionalism, providing communication/motivation and creating teamwork and collaboration between GP&T, Business Unit Tech and Strategic Partners.

•        Supports leadership to address high risk, high impact situations with clear analysis, high transparency and a sense of partnership


Basic Qualifications


•        Hands on experience in delivering sophisticated infrastructure related projects in large scale global Life Sciences or FMCG industries

•        Information Technology degree or other appropriate discipline

•        10-15 years’ experience in overall project management and/or program management

•        Recent experience with enterprise level security/infrastructure delivery – particular focus on network/perimeter/end user support/asset management

•        Experience in agile delivery methods

•        Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

•        Ability to build relationships with and influence other functional areas

•        Ability to define and manage business and technical requirements.

•        Excellent organisation and time management skills: Operates independently with minimal guidance by management; adapt to changes.

•        Problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis.

•        Extensive experience in meeting planning, facilitation, and documentation.

•        Demonstrated effective communications skills both written and oral coupled with the ability to tailor to any one of a wide variety of audiences
