LOA; 6 months 

Pay Rate: £557.91 Per Day / Via Umbrella / Inside IR35

Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities:

 

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced communications professional to come on board as a Communications Manage for the Master Data Management programme. The successful candidate focus delivering change communications and engagement support across the programme and wider business as part of the Data Culture narrative.

 

The role works closely with a wide variety of stakeholders across all functions to ensure that activities are aligned, coordinated and integrated.   

 

Key Deliverables:


  • Articulate the mission to define the evolution of master data management to data management to establish the data management activities at the federated functions/BUs level in line with New GSK’s Data Governance Target Operating Model.
  • Develop and articulate the business case for MDM 2022 activity to scale Augmented Data Management through the NPI process, working with Pharma Supply Chain and GPOs. Build awareness of the future of master data management across GSK as part of the Data Culture narrative
  • Develop and articulate the case for change in support of Master Data Management tooling at enterprise level
  • Communication and Engagement Plan
  • - Maintain and update stakeholder list including categorisation and action prioritisation and continue to support the MDM stakeholder management process by feeding in the programme component (programme and function) to ensure understanding and secure advocacy.
  • - Provide tactical updates to stakeholders on MDM&S key phases of delivery and achievements via Workplace, email and newsletters (e.g. Global Finance, GCC).
  • -Support MDM governance meetings, particularly SteerCo with pre-reads, presentation materials and actions resulting, maintain the calendar of such meetings. Where required, continue to provide strategic counsel to stakeholders, advising them on solutions for best practice communications.
  • Continue to develop the MDM&S website, including:
  • - MDM purpose, strategy and organisation
  • - Status of the 2021 implementation plan
  • - Plans for 2022
  • - Identifying and transferring relevant content and documents from the EDMO site. Archive the EDMO site.
  • Further identify and communicate change impacts resulting from CH separation of master data to relevant audiences, via appropriate media.
  • Develop materials for and facilitate leadership and team meetings where required. Design and deliver the engagement approach for the any organisational change components of the programme. Coordinate follow-up actions and measure progress resulting from high-performing teams survey and meetings.


Complexity:


  • The activities that come within the scope of this role are diverse, often with many interdependencies as well as sensitivities
  • The role involves considerable matrix working, influencing and stakeholder management and moves at pace

 

 

Key skills and attributes:


  • Experience delivering communications for large change programmes in Tech
  • Experience of transformation communications planning and execution for a global matrixed organisation
  • Tenacity, resilience and ability to work effectively under pressure and at pace
  • Strong judgement and integrity
  • Gravitas and influencing skills with the ability to build strong rapport with leaders
  • Strong verbal and written communication and story-telling skills – must think outside the box to engage creatively.

  • Personable and is proactive in their approach

 

Experience:


  • Formal training in communication would be an advantage but not a requirement
  • Experience in healthcare and IT/Tech would be an advantage but not a requirement
  • Familiarity with communications platforms such as Social Chorus are an advantage but not required
