Cyber Delivery Lead

Remote working, UK

6 Month Contract starting in March 2022

Pay rate up to £760 per day via Umbrella inside IR35

Job Purpose:

Primary focus of the role is to drive delivery of new cyber services within the Cyber Risk & Assurance function. The role holder will require in-depth technical skills as well as project management capabilities. You will be expected to provide advice and guidance to technical teams when shaping the new services and track the delivery of each service.


Key Responsibilities:

·       Provide technical and strategic direction for new cyber services spanning all domains within Cyber Security.

·       Drive planning and execution of all services acting as the technical delivery lead.

·       Engage with all stakeholders and ensure their requirements are considered during planning of new services.

·       Review technical gaps across I&AM, Data Security, Cloud Security, SDLC and ensure new services address identified gaps.

·       Create and communicate delivery plan to senior stakeholders

·       Become the single point of contact for any CRA delivery queries.

·       Manage MSP ensuring deliverables meeting GSK’s standards, fit for purpose and delivered on time.


Candidate Requirements:

·       Must have experience of both project management and cyber technical capabilities at an advanced level

·       Must have experience driving significant change initiatives across a large organisation.

·       Demonstrated experience and understanding of cyber security principles, IT security controls, and related technologies and products

·       Advanced knowledge of I&AM, Cloud, Data and App security.

·       Stakeholder/ internal business management experience with the ability to clearly articulate progress and key gaps.  

·       Strong verbal/written communication in English, with the ability to effectively interact with professionals at all levels of responsibility and authority

·       Work with virtual teams located in different countries around the world, aligning and adapting different work, culture and communication styles
