Role: QA Scientist
Location: GSK Ware
Contract Length: Initially 12 months
Pay rate: £20 per hour via Umbrella
Role Responsibilities:
- To perform routine Environmental Monitoring and monitoring support for clinical campaigns
- To perform water sampling and management of sampling schedule/ sample plan records
- To perform routine Microbial Limit testing and Water activity testing to validated procedures
- Raising EM and water action and alert notification reports and assisting with creation of summary trend reports
- Media and consumable stock checks
- Bacterial identification
- Data management, transcription checking and archiving
- Sample receipt and sending samples to Contract Testing Labs
- Management of microbial cultures
- Laboratory housekeeping including cleaning of incubators
Candidate Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of Microbiology
- Basic knowledge in application and requirements of GMP
- Knowledge of safe and effective operation of microbiology laboratory
