Rate: £590 per day umbrella


Tech Security and Risk - Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security: PMO Lead

The objective of the OT Cyber Security Programme is to reduce the risk of security threats to OT assets at GSK.

 

GSK is looking for an experienced PMO Lead to support with the implementation of the OT Cyber Security Controls into manufacturing, R&D and facilities sites that are in scope for engagement in 2021/2022. This is a critical role and will require an astute individual with the ability to co-ordinate and deliver the programme management portfolio standards, the governance framework and Agile reporting in line with the overall Programme strategy:

 

Key responsibilities are:

·       To have oversight of the Cyber Security Programme and co-ordination of project development and delivery of major projects;

·       Engaging with Stakeholders across GSK and provide required updates on OT Programme activities;

·       To co-ordinate the activities of the Governance meetings and support as required;

·       To co-ordinate complex, cross cutting programmes of work, through collaborative working with others;

·       Identify and plug any gaps as well as ensuring support and training is in place;

·       Upgrade and manage project plans;

·       Lead PMO meetings;

·       Facilitate BISO meetings

·       Manage and maintain the programme’s intake process ensuring cohesive collaboration across multiple business units/Tech and triage of requests

·       Update Jira and Confluence and build associated dashboards

·       Support programme mobilisation activity and take responsibility for successful initiation and delivery of assigned projects

·       Facilitate project planning and execution and manage milestones and deliverables across the various controls

·       Coordinate appropriate communication, escalation and reporting to ensure alignment and progress across teams and stakeholders

·       Use and adapt recognised project management methods and processes

·       Support the production of governance artefacts required in order to successfully navigate the programme lifecycle

·       Assist with PMO responsibilities such as populating any templates, maintain RAID logs and Risk Management and Change Management

·       Assist with the weekly reporting requirements

 

Skills required:

·       Previous experience in working as a PMO lead in large programmes

·       Hands-on exposure to agile way of working

·       Proactive & delivery focused while able to meet deadlines under pressure

·       Sound organisational skills with experience in maintaining project governance artefacts and reporting across a global programme in a matrixed organisation

·       Strong planning and deliverable tracking to plan with the required attention to detail

·       Able to hit the ground running and demonstrate a persistent drive to completion

·       Excellent stakeholder engagement with the expected written and oral communication skills, strong presentation skills and ability to apply Agile, Scrum, Kanban practices and related tools as required

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group; Product Owners, Project Leads, engineers, executives, managers and subject matter experts

·       Advanced MS Office Skills

·       Working knowledge of collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence

·       Background in cyber security with a proven track record of managing PMO activities

·       Desirable: Background in delivery of Cyber / Operational Technology security initiatives

·       Desirable: Pharmaceutical experience, ideally in the delivery of complex IT / OT programmes

·       Desirable: Understanding of quality practices and the documentation cycle in a regulated environment

 


The successful candidate will be a motivated team player who also works well independently and will show a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required. 

Location for the role will be agreed and will be for an initial 6-month duration on a five day per week basis.
