Project Manager

Up to £465 per day via umbrella

Remote / Brentford

Contract until December 2021


This role will support the CH EHS Change Lead to build and deliver the blueprint for the future EHS function in Consumer Healthcare. Critical for success and to ensure separation goals are met is the ability to navigate across the wider GSK organisation. The secondee will also need to be familiar with technical EHS content and have project management experience.


Key responsibilities:

  • Support the EHS Change Lead and work closely with the QSC PMO to deliver the integrated, structured EHS plan for Separation: governance, people, process and technology;
  • Interface with key stakeholders, driving detailed discussions to map and plan around entanglements and interdependencies, eg. between CH QSC EHS, the GSK EHS function and CH global support functions;
  • Organize, plan and execute detailed subject-specific work sessions, in-depth reviews, dry runs, and recurring calls to support teams and sites, tracking progress;
  • Act as the primary interface with 3rd parties appointed by the QSC PMO or EHS for delivery of specific elements of the separation plan;
  • Support the onboarding of new hires to the EHS Change team;
  • Plan and generate specific communications across the EHS function and GSK/CH business to provide clarity for stakeholders;
  • Ensure readiness for organisational oversight activities including management monitoring and audits;
  • Update the EHS Separation plan as required, ensuring milestones are met, following up on assigned responsibilities and track results;
  • Report project status to stakeholders as requested and expedite progress;
  • Monitor, flag and escalate risks and issues.
