Project Manager

Contract until June 2021

Up to £475 per day via umbrella only

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for overall project management of change programmes with large or complex business components (e.g. organisational, process change).
  • Accountable for co-ordination & integration of IT milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies etc in the overall programme plan (working closely with IT Programme Manager), if appropriate.


Specifically:

  • Preparing & maintaining an integrated, e2e project plan (with IT PgM, if applicable) for delivery, budget management, change control, resource/risk management & project reporting etc.
  • Monitoring & driving progress against the e2e project plan (with IT PgM for IT elements)
  • Providing specific planning focus to enable business deliverables, working with Business Lead & Change Management Lead (e.g. on process re-design, UAT, business stakeholder Comms & engagement, business resources & spend and 3rd party engagements , etc.)
  • Identifying emergent issues and working with project partners to agree/negotiate suitable solutions to enable the overall project to continue executing efficiently & effectively
  • Providing business project management coaching, as required, across project workstreams
  • Providing oversight of vendor engagements as per agreed contracts and plans


To be considered, you must have the following skills:

  • Project Management Certification preferred
  • Proven delivery of effective project management across a range of project types and complexities. Has held project management and/or leadership positions in organizations of comparable size
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Comfortable operating in situations characterized by complexity, ambiguity and high levels of uncertainty
  • Understanding of all the key business processes and functions within a transnational healthcare company
  • Negotiation skills and ability to influence with or without authority at a levels above and below own grade level
  • Veeva experience preferred
