Product Director - Advanced Analytics

Brentford

3 months initially before moving into a permanent role

Up to £670 per day – Umbrella only

Job Purpose

The Product Director Advanced Analytics is required to elicit business requirements, converting them into innovative products which realize tangible Value for the Pharma Supply Chain. The Product Director will influence stakeholders by conveying appropriate compelling business cases for subsequent delivery in a Cognitive, ML/AI environment, Blockchain and other bleeding edge technologies.

The Product director plays a key role in development of User Cases, management of AGILE Squads and the optimization and streamlining of processes by defining digital workers. The role works across all pillars of the Digital, Data & Analytics organization and partners with identified Stakeholders, Executive Sponsors, and Executive Management to increase the efficiency of the overall organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the voice of the customer, raising requisitions that leapfrog GSK into the next generation solutions.

• Develop an innovation roadmap to ensure we keep ahead of our competitors and are at the forefront of industry trends for industrialisation of analytics

• Identify and develop use cases related with Advanced analytics that include but are not limited to data extracted through IoT, Cognitive Automation, Blockchain, ML/AI, NLP, OCR etc. This includes research, experimentation, POC and POV.

• Should evaluate the business value and ROI for these cutting edge products

• Ensure full integration with our offshore teams in India and Poland to ensure the right balance between onshore presence and offshore muscle

• Manage major programs and projects across stakeholder experiments in a way that adds rigor and transparency

• Will have experience of defining and planning the POC to development (RTL) approach for individual Cognitive AI/Ml projects as part of a wider programme.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Computer science or statistics, AI/ML or relevant field.

• An extensive background in evaluating designing, Analytics solutions.

• Experience and knowledge of ML and AI algorithms

• Will have experience of defining and planning the POC to development (RTL) approach for individual Cognitive AI/Ml projects as part of a wider programme

• Experience in any of the following: AI/ML, Advanced Analytics, MLCM techniques, Blockchain, IoT techniques, Edge analytics, NLP, OCR, CNN and VGG , GAN etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

• Master’s degree in Computer Technology or Business

• Ability to understand market needs, manage stakeholders and vendors

• Ability to manage and work with business and technology stakeholders

• Ability to provide recommendations to influence decisions and define tactical solutions

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Effective communicator

• Ability to work in multiple markets

• Ability to manage complex projects and programs

• Ability to escalate and remove barriers to progress in a large matrix organization and with senior stakeholders
