We need someone who is an experienced signatory (at least 1 year experience), respiratory experience preferred but not essential, Medical Dr or Pharmacist

Reporting to the Head of Medical affairs for a specific therapy area. Work closely with your commercial colleagues to provide proactive input into the strategic management of the product, jointly agreeing, developing and implementing strategic direction within key therapeutic areas, allowing commercial aims and ambitions to be met. The role requires a good understanding of clinical development processes and of the changing healthcare environment in which GSK UK operates. Providing authoritative opinion on medical, legal and regulatory matters to support your colleagues across GSK UK, enabling them to comply with the relevant statutory requirements (e.g. ABPI Code of Practice, Medicines Act, EU Directives). Effectively developing relationships with key influencers and external organisations to ensure that GlaxoSmithKline retains a leading voice in the UK pharmaceutical industry.

About You:

This role would suit a driven and motivated individual who has strong experience of working in a complex operational environment. Strong people-management skills and experience, as well as a proven ability to drive performance, are considered essential. It is imperative in this role that you demonstrate an ability to drive common-objective thinking, with a complete focus on providing solutions. You will need to be persuasive, have a strong continuous improvement mindset, and have proven experience of dealing with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups. Ideally you will have worked in a highly regulated-industry (experience of the provision of complex facilities support services to a large office or pharmaceutical facility would be highly advantageous).
