Job Title: Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (BIW/FMEA)
Location: Warwick
Position:Rolling Contract 8 Months + (Mon-Fri)
Salary: c£36 /h (40 hrs per week)

Our Client, an Iconic Global Automotive OEM, with cutting-edge facilities is actively seeking an Experienced Advanced Manufacturing Engineer toprovide Failure Mode Event Analysis (FMEA) knowledge and leadership for development of PFMEAs in the BIW organisation.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability:

  • Lead a FMEA team in the development of generic PFMEAs for the Body In White process
  • Update and Maintain the Risk Filter
  • Drive the team on to ensure that rapid delivery is progressed;
  • Facilitate the FMEA process, including setting up the review sessions, ensuring pre-work is completed, driving the team to complete their deliverable's, recording the results on the FMEA software, ensure updates from other areas are considered
  • Lead and maintain the cross-functional team required to deliver the FMEA process
  • Update tracking documents and report out to Management on progress
  • Maintaining a consistent approach to all FMEAs
  • Understanding of Statistical Process control, control plans
  • Knowledge of Integrated Production Systems, Quality Operating systems and Audit compliance
  • Maintain the FMEAs, Quality Operating systems, Audit compliance where appropriate.
  • Validation and approval of Standardised Work Instructions.
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
  • Flexible to undertake travel between our UK based sites- mainly in the Midlands
  • Knowledge of Automotive Manufacturing is preferable but not essential
Essential Skill & Experience required:
  • Experience of FMEA creation and delivery
  • Experience of Quality Management Systems, developing and maintaining standards and processes, and master schedules
  • Identifying and application of problem solving techniques
  • Understanding of Statistical Process control and control plans
  • Knowledge of Integrated Production Systems and Quality Operating systems
  • Audit compliance
  • Microsoft package elements PowerPoint & Excel
  • Flexible to undertake travel between our UK based sites- mainly in the Midlands
  • Knowledge of Automotive Manufacturing is preferable but not essential
